Deliveries were and will continue to be prioritised to customers who are dependent on cylinders for heating and hot water, and industries reliant on LPG cylinders to support critical infrastructure such as hospitals and care homes. This has affected the availability of the smaller, more leisure-oriented cylinder sizes, which Calor has suggested they will be in a better position to supply as spring demand picks up.

The impact from Covid-19 in regards to staffing issues, Brexit and the labour-market repercussions were the biggest hurdles to overcome in regards to meeting demand.

Looking forward, Calor Distribution Centres remain closed to the public, but it still provides a delivery service. Customers can call their local distribution centre to arrange this. Alternatively, you can also exchange your cylinder from your nearest retailer. Calor recommends calling before travelling to one of its retailers to check availability and opening hours.
