Overview
There is an abundance of wildlife in the New Forest and the relaxed atmosphere means most will have little fear coming close to the campsite; campers at Setthorns can expect to see a number of New Forest ponies and maybe even some deer. There is an array of activities to get involved in while staying at this campsite including cycling and walking through the New Forest or visits the nearby seaside resorts of Barton on Sea and Bournemouth. Nearby attractions include the New Forest Reptile Centre, Hurst Castle and lighthouse and the Red House Museum and Gardens which is a must see for archaeology or geology enthusiasts. Close to the villages of Sway and Brockenhurst, there are plenty of restaurants, craft shops and pubs to keep everyone entertained.
