Ideally located inside the M25, this site has been part of the Club for more than 90 years and offers a tranquil and green space to camp that feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere.
Escape from the city
The site is spacious and offers plenty of walking potential including a riverside stroll into Hersham. There are no toilet or shower facilities here, which adds to the feeling of a remote rural getaway despite being so close to the city. The campsite is a haven for wildlife and is regularly visited by local parakeets.
Something for everyone
You can catch a train into central London from either Walton on Thames or Hersham stations – making it easy to visit icons like Buckingham Palace or Tower Bridge. Families will also love how close this site is to theme parks such as Chessington World of Adventures. For calmer days out, you could try visiting Hampton Court Palace or enjoy a spot of golf at one of the nearby courses. For food, try the highly rated international cuisine of West Molesey.
