In the Northumberland National Park, perfect for outdoor activities and great days out.

Located on the edge of the Northumbrian National Park – considered to be the most tranquil place in the UK – our Bellingham Club campsite will appeal to campers looking for relaxing break as well as those seeking adventure.

This is a level, well maintained campsite with modern facilities, a well-stocked site shop, short dog walk and a children’s play area. In addition to its 70 pitches, the campsite offers glamping accommodation in one of its four wooden camping pods. The pods are insulated with sheep's wool and ideal for autumn/winter camping breaks and are also popular with backpackers and cycle campers.

For those who do arrive without a vehicle, buses to Hexham stop outside the site.

There are numerous walking and cycling opportunities from nearby Bellingham. You can walk from the town to the magical Hareshaw Linn waterfall through ancient woodland. There’s more walking to be enjoyed from Greenhaugh village or spend the day in Kielder Water and Forest Park, northern Europe’s largest man-made lake to the north west of Bellingham campsite. Here you can walk, cycle, sail, canoe and water ski. You can view Northumbria’s dark skies here too at the Kielder Observatory.

For history lovers, you can spend an interesting day at Hadrian’s Wall and Alnwick Castle and gardens.

AWESOME! We love this site. First visit too! Definitely coming back, maybe at Christmas. Lovely hosts and the biggest and best shower cubicles we've ever seen! The planned activities were a winner in our eyes. Kielder Birds of Prey, hog roast (local pub) and pumpkin carving competition were excellent. The site is very well situated for exploring a fair chunk of the North East, with Kielder, Hadrian's Wall and the Tyne Valley within easy driving distances. Not forgetting the lovely town of Bellingham on your doorstep. The on site shop was well stocked, the best we've seen in 5 years of touring, with local produce at the forefront and every day essentials available. The site also has free wifi (well it was when we were there!). In short, you can't go wrong with this club site. Can't wait to go back!

First time we have used this site even though it is less than an hour from our home (perhaps that,s the reason) and we can,t wait to get back again.Very pleasant welcome on arrival and left to pick our own pitch where we liked.Flat pitches which are spacious and well set out.The walk into the town of Bellingham takes only ten minutes where there are several pubs,a Co-op and various other shops. Several walks from the site which is quite central for numerous other walks and bike rides. The facilities are second to none and spotless.A real find. Thanks.
