Just returned from a 10 night stay at this well equipped, laid out, site.

Just returned from a 10 night stay at this well equipped, laid out, site. Friendly helpful staff. When husband came out of new shower block his comment was "wow". The old block was excellent also. Quite a long walk along unpathed road to bus stop. Not suitable for cycling unless your tour de france standard. Will recommend this to family and friends.

We stayed for a week in August with our daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons. Very well maintained site, facilities second to none and staff very friendly and helpful. When our 8 year old grandson fell off his bike whilst cycling round the site, one of the wardens came to collect our daughter and took her to him. On getting there, she found one of the staff had done a wonderful first aid job on him, patching him up (his face was badly cut and bruised) and they told her exactly what had happened. The lady who saw him fall got help straight away (very grateful to her) and after he was brought back to our unit, the warden came round later that evening to check how he was. So pleased that they knew which unit he had come from and the fact they keep an eagle eye out for any mishaps. Will definitely visit again.

Wow what a lovely site, in such a beautiful area within half hours drive of so many lovely places. Facilities were 5 star especially the new shower block. A brilliant idea to have all the local walks laminated and numbered you pay a deposit of 5 and take as many walks as you want then swap them and at the end of the holiday get your 5 back. Very nice dog friendly pub a five minute drive or a 30 minute walk but along busy roads 2 good dog walks on site though we saw lots of people with dogs letting them foul the grass areas around the site this is not on! staff so friendly. Lovely beaches at Lyme Regis everywhere was so clean. Only one downside feel you would need a car. we did several walks from the site , quite hilly and the nearest bus stop is quite a walk away, but would definately return
