    Escape to the remote and wild beauty of the West Wales coast with a stay at Cardigan Bay Club Site. This comfortable and peaceful campsite is located just a short drive from the harbour town of New Quay and some of the most beautiful and least frequented beaches in Wales. It’s the ideal site to choose if you want to get away from it all.

     

    Thriving nature

     

    This quiet campsite is in a lovely rural area surrounded by green fields and has grass and hardstanding pitches to cater for most unit types. Facilities include toilets, showers, a designated dog walk, a motorhome service point, and washing machines. It’s not unheard of to spot red kites flying overhead in this remote area where nature thrives.

     

    More to explore

    As well as land-based wildlife, along the coast, you can sometimes see dolphins at certain times of year, while fishing along the coast here can produce sea bass. If you explore to the south, you will wind up in Cardigan town, which has some great places to eat and quaint antique shops. Further along, Poppit Sands is another stunning beach and is close to the starting point of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

    		These are super service hard standing pitches with electric hook-up, fresh water and waste drainage, suitable for those looking for a little more luxury whilst they camp.

     

    Worth noting

    Some pitches are sloping, so levelling devices and chocks may be required.

    Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre

    Tour the waters around the beautiful coastal county of Ceredigion from the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre, a volunteer-led organisation dedicated to conserving Cardigan Bay's marine wildlife.

    Mwnt

    Acclaimed by the Daily Mail in 2011 as one of "Europe's top ten loveliest, hidden beaches", Mwnt beach is a sheltered sandy cove off the beaten track but can still get busy in the height of summer.

    Cenarth

    Set deep in rural Wales where the three counties of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire meet are a set of waterfalls that also form a spectacular salmon leap. This is a sight not to miss especially in the autumn as the fish move upstream to spawn.

    Aberystwyth Cliff Electric Railway

    Opened in 1896 as part of a larger Victorian theme park, the railway runs from the northern part of the seaside and university town of Aberystwyth to the top of Constitution Hill. It is a rare and fascinating attraction and well worth visiting.
