Something for everyone

Welcoming to all types of camping unit, this pretty site features full facilities, including motorhome service points and washing machines. A short walk will see you alongside the river where you can enjoy picnics, gentle strolls, fishing (rod licence required), and even canoeing or kayaking for the more adventurous. If you want to make a full day of those outdoor activities, then head north to the stunning Forest of Bowland, where you’ll find ample trails and a visitor centre.

Cosy Clitheroe

As well as being by the river, camping here will put you within walking distance of Clitheroe town where you can find an impressive castle that is approximately 800 years old and home to a museum. The town is also home to a cinema, great shopping, and some fabulous places to eat, such as Holmes Mill beer hall and Dough Pizzeria.
