A prize-winning holiday

When I discovered what we’d won, the first bit of fun was deciding where to go. Scotland perhaps?
We had our first taste of motorhoming in Scotland and loved every minute of it. But as we’re reliably one of the slowest ’vans on the road, saving fuel with a top speed of about 55mph, and delighting in the journey as much as the destination, we would hardly get there from Surrey before we’d have to head back home.
After much happy deliberation, we decided on the South-West in September when the roads would be less crowded and we wouldn’t be taking up space from families in the school holidays.
