    Top site for fishing

Loch Ness Shores are looking forward to welcoming you.

Scotland’s most famous loch is the stunning backdrop for the Club’s new campsite in the Scottish Highlands. The aptly-named Loch Ness Shores Club campsite is located on the quieter south shore near the village of Foyers.

This 99 pitch, all-year-round campsite enjoys panoramic views around Loch Ness to the mountains beyond and is the perfect base for exploring the area’s historic sites like the magnificent Urquhart Castle, the charming towns and villages of Fort Augustus, Cannich and Drumnadrochit, or for getting active whether it be on foot, bike or boat.

The site itself has excellent eco credentials, including using innovative green technologies to heat and light the top notch facilities which include an amenity block with under floor heating and home from home shower rooms, an on-site shop and wi-fi. Boats (suitable for fishing) and canoes are available to hire on site.

Loch Ness Shores has been named 'Scottish Caravan Park of the Year 2017' in the Scottish Caravans & Motorhomes Magazine Awards.

Due to local planning restrictions please note that the arrival time for this site is after 2pm.

A beautiful, clean site with friendly staff, and in a great location.

This review is for Loch Ness Shores

A beautiful, clean site with friendly staff, and in a great location. Access is fairly narrow, but good practice for the highland roads! We only stayed one night on our way to the NC500, but would return without hesitation. The walk to the falls at Foyers is well worth the effort.

Heat and power mainly from the environment with a low carbon footprint. An exemplary site. Water and power on each pitch. Space and choice on pitches, airstream diner with good food choices. The Forbes certainly know what they are doing.

This is a really first class site, the stop was meant to be an over night stay on the way south from the Western Isles, however, stayed an extra day as the scenery, facilities and staff were all so good that it seemed silly to move on! There is a lot to do in the area and around the site and so the information from the staff about local walks to do, boat trips and general tips were invaluable and we found them very friendly and approachable and always on hand. The airstream takeaway diner was a dream.......noodles with roasted vegetables and chicken with piri piri sauce.......delicious after a long drive and late check in. Road to and from the site is single track in many places but plenty of passing places and easy to negotiate. We will be back. 5 star.

We stayed here for 7 nights in our motor home and so sad to leave. The site sits on the shores of loch Ness although be prepared you might not get a view if you are in the upper field where the kids playground is. The showers are very clean and we didn't have to queue. The shop doesn't sell the basics you might want but sells milk and bread if you run out but there is a small shop in foyers and there are plenty of supermarkets heading towards Inverness. The staff are very friendly ( Donald chased my little boy for his ice-cream) and if you ask them anything , always had the answer. Very quiet site at night so sleeping not a problem. Very dog friendly and a there is a lovely woodland walk by the river to take them on. There are activities during the day such as archery and den building and you can hire a motor boat for £40 an hour. There is also an airstream diner but this is slightly expensive for what you get. Overall his is a hidden gem not to be missed.
