Best for
Beach lovers, tranquillity seekers, wildlife spotters, golfers
Camp in a wonderful beachside setting close to the Moray Firth at Rosemarkie Club Site. At the edge of Scotland’s Black Isle, this magnificently remote setting is ideal for a relaxing and tranquil break, and also a great place to spot wildlife such as dolphins that regularly frequent the waters here.
Pitch up at the beach
This small site has only grass pitches due to its remote location but welcomes units of all types. Many of the pitches enjoy impressive views right on the beachfront of Rosemarkie Bay. An amenities block, washing up area, dedicated disabled facilities, and designated dog walk make it a very convenient place to camp. A short walk away is Chanonry Point – a well-known spot for dolphin spotting.
Fairies and Fortrose
There are some beautiful walks in the area, such as the short trek up to Fairy Glen Falls, which can be done directly from the site. Camping here will also put you next door to a very picturesque golf club. In the nearby town of Fortrose, history fans will love exploring the ruined cathedral, while the pretty harbour offers boat trips and hosts a sailing club. The city of Inverness is also only a 30-minute drive away.
Enjoy sublime coastal views from Scotland’s Black Isle by booking your next holiday at Rosemarkie Club Site.
