Campsites in Bridlington
Things to see and do in Bridlington
Head to the beach
Bridlington has two main beaches to enjoy during your camping trip. Bridlington North Beach and Bridlington South Beach straddle either side of the picture-perfect harbour. The award-winning beaches are long, sandy stretches, with brilliant facilities and dog friendly areas.
Enjoy wildlife spotting along the coast
The coastline around Bridlington is home to a diverse range of animals, from nesting seabirds to seals and dolphins. RSPB Bempton Cliffs is just a short drive from Bridlington and has a world-renowned seabird colony. Between March and August is the best time to visit to see the most seabirds but if you’re looking for Puffins, April and July are your best months.
Take a harbour boat cruise
See Bridlington from the water on a boat trip around the beautiful harbour. The Pirate Ship offers scenic trips each day during the warmer months around Flamborough Head, Bempton Cliffs and Thornwick Bay.
Adrenaline boat rides
Adventure seekers can enjoy the water at a much faster pace on a speed boat ride directly from Bridlington Harbour.
Ride the seafront land train
During the summer you can travel up and down Bridlington promenades on the fun fleet of land trains. They’re a good way to get around without walking, or make for a nice return trip.
