What's New at The Camping and Caravanning Club
The latest news and updates
As a not-for-profit organisation, our Club is built by and for our members. We reinvest every pound back into the services and camping experiences that matter most to you. With this in mind, we want to keep you up to date with our latest news and developments, reflecting our commitment to enhancing the value of Club membership and inspiring the camper in everyone.
Member price freeze

We are committed to providing consistent value and ensuring that our members enjoy all the benefits of the Club without any unexpected changes.
Therefore, our Club membership fees will remain the same as last year reflecting our dedication to inspiring the camper in everyone and enabling us to continue building our camping community together.
Changes to Club magazine frequency from Autumn

The Club has taken the decision to reduce the frequency of its member magazines Camping & Caravanning and Out & About to nine issues per year, to combat the rising costs of distribution and production.
The plan captures significant savings on print, paper and postage, and helps reduce the overall carbon footprint of the business.
We will continue to publish both magazines up to and including the October 2025 issue, which will be distributed to members in mid-September.
We will then produce a bumper winter special issue, distributed to members in mid-December, before returning with the March 2026 issue, in mid-February 2026.
For active members of the Club’s Regions, District Associations and Special Interest Sections, check out our July O&A magazine for changes to AGM notices, election results and listings for Meets and Temporary Holiday sites during the winter months.
Age Concession rename – welcome 60+ saver!
If you're aged 60 or over, the Club will always bring you amazing value in the incredible outdoors.
Every time you book a Club Site break, you’ll benefit from our 60+ saver rate. (Previously known as Age Concession Rate) In Low and Mid-season, that means a further 25% saving on pitch fees, over and above your member discount.
Members joining us from June 2025 will have this rate automatically applied to every eligible Club Site booking they make.
Already a member, but not a 60+ saver?
If you’re aged 60 or over and you joined the Club at any time before April 2025, there’s no reason not to apply our 60+ saver rate to your Club Site bookings.
To get your membership updated to 60+ saver, simply show proof of age at reception along with your membership card on your next visit to a Club Site, and the team will arrange for your membership to be updated.
To make sure you benefit from your extra discount, just select ‘60+ saver’ when you book online.
The 60+ Saver rate is applied to the basic pitch night price, but not to any additional service charges, such as hardstanding and electric.
Network evolution

The evolution of our site network is key to ensuring we offer members the best camping experiences in the UK’s most beautiful locations.
We have bought the Beadnell Bay Club Site in Northumberland, along with additional land, and will be developing this stunning coastal campsite with more pitches and enhanced facilities.
Providing excellent facilities for our campers is a top priority and improving them across our sites is always at the forefront of our minds. We’ve been looking at new ways to do this and are trialling a new modular facilities block at our Tarland Club Site, in Scotland, which includes toilets, showers, laundry and more. If this is successful, we will consider rolling it out to other suitable locations.
We’re also progressing with our plans to develop a new Club Site in the Lake District and are exploring alternative camping options to enable those without units to stay with us, making camping accessible to all.
As part of this evolution, we have sold Kelvedon Hatch. We already have other, more popular sites in this area that will continue to meet camper demand. We will reinvest the money from this sale into sites that align with the Club’s network model and will continue to investigate campsite acquisitions and refurbishments in areas where they can add real value to the member experience.
Infrastructure upgrades
We’ve always been focused on the whole camping experience at our Club Sites. From booking with ease, arriving on site to a friendly welcome and being shown to your pitch, we take care of everything.
We have invested significantly in infrastructure upgrades at our sites to ensure full compliance and safety when you stay with us. This includes improving technology for easier check-ins and updates to our site electrics.
A unique experience
And finally, we will of course continue to offer the unique experience that comes with Club membership; the friendly welcome, discounts at our Club Sites, and access to member-only Certificated Sites.
When you book with us, you can be assured that the campsite will be well-maintained, you will feel safe and welcome, and you will be ready to enjoy everything the incredible outdoors has to offer.
We can’t wait to see you soon.
Welcome to the incredible outdoors.
