My tour of Japan

Japan had always been one of those places that we see on TV and think we understand. The Japanese culture and way of living seem so different from what we in Western Europe know. It has always been on my list of must-see places.
In 2016 the costs of accommodation in, and travel to, Japan came down into the bracket where it was expensive but still justifiable, so I booked an escorted tour of Honshu, the main island of Japan, with a well-known travel company.
