The Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show is the traditional curtain-raiser for the new camping season, and for 2018 it runs from 20-25 February at its regular home, the NEC Birmingham. Last year nearly 95,000 fans of tent camping and touring in caravans and motorhomes filled the halls during the show’s six-day run.

So how many of you made New Year resolutions? Are you still sicking to them – or planning to stick to them?

For me, I’ve resolved to hop on a cross-Channel ferry with my wife and kids, with a caravan in tow, to visit a French campsite or two. I can’t wait to see how our two get on making friends with Continental kids.

Today the Motorhome and Caravan Show opens its doors to visitors excited to get a first look at the 2018-season’s best new caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents, all under the same roof. The show runs from 17-22 October at its regular home, the NEC Birmingham, and there are plenty of great reasons to drop in and take a look around.
