Why not stay at a campsite just minutes from a theme park?
This summer, we wanted to try something new, so we decided taking the kids to a theme park for their very first time would be an unforgettable adventure.
We pitched up and headed to Alton Towers to explore CBeebies Land. It was pure magic — their eyes lit up as they discovered new rides and made unforgettable memories. Being so close to all the action meant we could soak it all in together as a family without having a long trip home.
The campsite itself is a dream for little ones, with spacious open areas to run free and an incredible playground that kept them entertained for hours.
Why not add this perfect summer escape to your wish list?

Why not step outside, go barefoot, and make some wild memories together?
Every camping trip leaves our kids a little braver, a little bolder and always buzzing with stories.
Our recent getaway to Conkers Club Site was no exception. Nestled next to the beautiful Conkers National Forest, it gave us access to some truly unforgettable adventures—starting with the incredible Barefoot Walk.
Imagine squeals of laughter as the kids squelched through mud, tiptoed across pebbles, and stomped over bark trails. It was messy and magical. Feeling the earth beneath our feet reminded us all just how fun it is to connect with nature in the simplest, most playful ways.
Back at the site, we unwound in the peaceful surroundings before grabbing an ice cream and heading to the playground to round off the day. The site really does take the stress out of family holidays - everything is easy, safe, and surrounded by the incredible outdoors.
Why not get closer to nature?

Why not take to the water and go with the flow?
We’ve always loved paddle boarding, but this was our first time giving kayaking a go! Paddling down the river together as a family was such a fun experience. We got to enjoy the scenery, chat, laugh, and even sneak in a bit of a workout without really realising it. Cade, 8 loved sitting in the front and being able to row it'.
After a great day on the water, heading back to our campsite was just what we needed. Hot showers, a relaxed atmosphere, and genuinely friendly staff made it all feel like a mini retreat.
If you’ve never tried kayaking before, why not go for it on your next staycation?
