Big Toast Competition Terms
1) Promoter:
a) The Promoter of this competition is The Camping and Caravanning Club, Greenfields House, Westwood Way, Coventry, CV4 8JH.
2) Competition period:
a) Opens: 6 July 2026, 10am
b) Closes: 4 September 2026, 10am
c) Any entries received outside this period will not be considered.
3) Eligibility:
a) Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
b) Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.
c) Employees of The Camping and Caravanning Club, their immediate family members, or anyone professionally associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
4) How to enter.
a) Via social media: The entrant must upload a post to their Facebook/Instagram or TikTok account of an original s’mores recipe they have made created using a BBQ and tag @campandcaravan to enter.
5) Entry requirements:
a) All entries must be an original post created by the entrant. By submitting an entry, you confirm that your post does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity.
b) Entries must be created by the entrant without the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools or algorithms. This competition celebrates human creativity and originality, and therefore AI-generated or AI-assisted content is not eligible.
c) Entries must not contain any offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content.
6) The prize:
a) The winner will receive a £200 Club Site Voucher to be redeemed at a Camping and Caravanning Club Site as specified on the T&Cs of the voucher.
b) Prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives in place of the stated prize. In the event the stated prize is unavailable, The Camping and Caravanning Club reserves the right to substitute it with an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
7) Winner selection and notification:
a) A judge appointed by The Camping and Caravanning Club will select the winning entry based on the following criteria: creativity, originality and relevance to The Camping and Caravanning Club's site guidelines. The judges' decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
b) The judging will take place within 15 working days after the closing date.
c) The winner will be notified by email or telephone within 10 working days of the judging date. If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 working days of the first attempt, The Camping and Caravanning Club reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
d) The prize will be awarded within 60 days of the draw date unless otherwise stated. If delays occur, the winner will be informed and an updated fulfilment timeline will be provided.
8) Publicity and winner details:
a) The winner’s name or social media handle may be announced on The Camping and Caravanning Club’s platforms without further payment or permission. However, the Club will usually seek explicit permission before publishing any personal details, in line with best practice and data protection principles.
b) The winners’ details are available upon request within 30 days of the competition close date.
c) The winner may be required to participate in reasonable publicity related to the competition.
d) Winners may request to opt out of publicity or request a reduction in the amount of personal information published by contacting press.enquiries@campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk
9) Intellectual property and usage rights:
a) By submitting your content, you grant The Camping and Caravanning Club a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and publish your entry for promotional and marketing purposes related to this competition.
b) The winner agrees to assign all intellectual property rights in their winning content to The Camping and Caravanning Club. This includes the right for The Camping and Caravanning Club to use the content for any other commercial purpose.
10) Data protection:
a) Any personal data collected will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
b) Personal data provided during entry will only be used for the administration of this prize draw unless the participant has opted in to receive marketing communications.
c) Data will be handled in accordance with the promoter’s privacy policy, available at www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/policies/privacy-policy/
11) General terms and conditions:
a) Entry to the draw is free and no purchase is necessary.
b) Automated or bulk entries and entries from third-party services will be disqualified.
c) The Camping and Caravanning Club may disqualify any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, or breaches these terms. Late, illegible, photocopied, defaced or corrupted entries will be void. The Camping and Caravanning Club will not be responsible for any entries that are not received for any reason, including but not limited to technical issues or postal delays.
d) By entering the competition, entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
e) The Camping and Caravanning Club reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition and these Terms and Conditions at any time upon reasonable notice. The Camping and Caravanning Club’s decision regarding the administration of the competition is final.
12) Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
