Wicksteed Park

Created back in 1913, Wicksteed is a place for children and adults alike to have fun, no matter what your idea of thrill seeking may be. The park boasts rides for all ages from the snakes and ladders drop slide and classic carousel all the way to larger rollercoasters and rocky river falls. There is even a 310m long zip wire with a top speed of 40mph and treetop walk, 8 meters off the ground.

Within the grounds, the parks lake has had a £3 million spruce thanks to the Heritage lottery fund, Northamptonshire County Council and Kettering Borough Council. Shingle beaches, a pontoon and the arboretum can all be explored as well as a natural play zone for the little ones.
