Turkey 'au Van' cooked with carrots and shallots
Camping this Christmas? For the full festive experience I've devised a Christmas dinner that can be cooked on the dual gas hob in your caravan or motorhome – or tent if you’re that brave.

Bringing together all the elements of a traditional Christmas dinner, this 'Turkey au Van' cooks the bird and vegetables in a wonderfully festive boozy gravy. Serve it with a fluffy potato and parsnip mash and my tasty little sausage and cranberry dumplings. And crackers – of course.
