It’s about eating slabs of homemade cake in the kooky cafes, shopping for fresh bread and cheeses with strange names in the farm shops, supping locally-brewed ale in the pub, buying freshly picked fruits in the market and purchasing meat for your barbecue from the chatty high street butcher.
