The Sandringham Club Sites is situated within the Royal Estate and has pitches within woodland glades. This tranquil campsite has 275 pitches, a well stock shop, family shower rooms, a great play area and miles of forest tracks going directly from the site – ideal for your little explorer’s.

Pricing

Members’ family price per night from only £29.60 on a standard grass pitch. The price is based on the members’ family deal which includes two adults and up to four children under the age of 18 (five if there’s only one adult), per night. For non-members the equivalent price is from £45.20.

Your little princes and princesses will love to see where the Queen has her dinner, where she sleeps at night and run around in her back garden just like her great-grandchildren. Pick up a fun family quiz and find the answers as you wonder around Sandringham House - one of the Royal Family's favourite holiday homes. Allow 3+ hours

Norfolk Lavender

For a unique family day out in Norfolk plan a visit to the Norfolk Lavender at Heacham. It is also home to rare breeds of animals where you will see many new-born babies, has an enormous indoor play area and a great adventure playground too. Buy some lavender to take home and make your own lavender bags for a nice gift for your mum or grandma. Allow 2+ hours

Catch a crab

The seaside town of Cromer is famous for its crab and is a prime spot for your youngsters to try catching their own. All that is needed is fishing net or a piece of string, bait and a weight heavy (enough to keep the bait of the bottom). Dip the net slowly or drop the line drop into the sea. Wrap a little of the line loosely around your hand and wait until you feel the crab pulling. A handy tip to remember is that crabs can pinch, so hold by the shell and handle with care. Allow 1.5 hours

Hunstanton SeaLife Centre

Be amazed at the variety of animals and fish from otters and clownfish (remember Nemo) to a full seal rescue facility and hospital. Meander through tunnels, gaze at enormous aquarium tanks, get interactive at the rock pool and play on the pirate ship. Allow 3+ hours


Cardigan Bay Club Site, Wales

Our Cardigan Bay Club Site is near the beautiful beaches of the Welsh coast - ideal for a family break. It has 90 pitches with the majority having electric hook-up, guaranteed clean washrooms, play park, a Boules pitch and a large field for ball games plus a nice little dog walk.

Wildlife Boat Trip

Take the family on Wildlife Boat Trip for an amazing experience to see dolphins, seals and a variety of seabirds along the stunningly coastline around Cardigan Bay. Each trip departs from Cardigan Bay and includes a marine tour guide. Allow 1.5 hours.

King Arthur's Labyrith

The whole family will enjoy discovering more about the legend of King Arthur. You will set sail with a mysterious hooded boatman from the dark ages steering you through a labyrinth of underground caves and waterfalls – uncovering dragons, giants and King Arthur. Allow 3 hours.

Beaches around Cardigan Bay

Whatever time of year it is a visit to the beach can be fun and exciting. The area around Cardigan Bay gives you a wide choice of stunning coves and golden sands. The kids will love taking their fishing nets and discovering the delights of the rock pools. You can take ‘Rover’ with you as many of the beaches are dog friendly all year round. Then head to one of the numerous café’s to enjoy an ice-cream and hot chocolate. Allow 3 hours.

Borth Animalarium

For the young and young at heart a day out to the zoo will always bring a smile to your face. Borth animalairum offers surplus wild animals and exotic pets a new home. Discover reptiles, crocodiles, big cats, meerkats and farm animals. Allow 3 hours.


Dunstan Hill, Northumberland

Pitch up at this rural campsite situated just a mile from the Northumberland Heritage Coast. The spacious, mainly level campsite offers a mix of hardstand and grass pitches and two fully refurbished wash blocks and a children’s play area.

Alnwick Garden Treehouse

For an awesome adventure, step along wobbly rope bridges and wooden walkways to one of the world’s largest treehouses! Siting high in the treetops the treehouse has viewing platforms, activity rooms and a unique restaurant with trees growing through the floor. Then wonder on to discover the beautiful cascading water fountain and the secrets behind the locked gates of the Poison Garden. Allow 3+ hours

Puffin Cruise

A must do experience when you are camping in Northumberland with the family is to go on a Puffin Cruise around one of the islands. Watch your children look on in wonder as they see puffins, grey seals and other seabirds. The boat trips regularly leave from Amber or Seahouses harbour. Allow 1+ hour

Kielder Water and Forest Park

Take a drive to the pretty Kielder Water and Forest Park….you won’t regret it! The park is northern Europe’s largest man-made lake and England’s largest forest, where you will discover miles of purpose built trials ideal for family bike rides and leisurely family strolls along with a choice water sports. Allow 3+ hours

Pots and Paws

Lots of children like to do arts and craft – and is a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. The Pots & Paws pottery painting and bear making studio in Rothbury, will provide you with a creative and fun time together. Open every day you can either paint using acrylic paints and then take your master piece home with you the same day or use ceramic paints and have your piece fired in the kiln ready for collection 4-5 days later. Alternatively, the kids can create their very owned designed teddy bear to snuggle up to at bedtime. Allow 3+ hours


Cheddar Club Site, Somerset

Cheddar Club campsite is set in the heart of the beautiful Mendip Hills – an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This well laid out campsite has excellent shower and toilet facilities, including a family room, plus a laundry, and a well-stocked licensed shop selling freshly baked croissants, bread and local produce.

Cheddar Gorge

Kids will love having an awesome time embarking on a journey of fantasy underground at Cheddar Gorge where the exquisite coloured crystalline grotto has incredible calcite sculptures, dancing fountains, mirror pools playing to beautiful music with impressive lighting displays. Remember to pick up discount tickets from the campsite. Allow 2.5 hours

West Somerset Railway

Take your little ones on a step back in time by hopping on a steam train at the village of Bishops Lydeard situated at the foot of the beautiful Quantock Hills and journey through pretty villages, rolling farmland, quaint habour towns, past the impressive Dunster Castle through to Minehead. Allow 1.5 hours.

Brean Down

Pack a picnic and head off for a great day out at Brean Down. All the family can take part in the Easter egg trails, admire the impressive views from the top of Brean Down then at the bottom build a sandcastle or two on the miles of golden sands. Allow 4+ hours.

Dunster Castle

Bring their history lessons to life with a visit to Dunster Castle. Dramatically situated on a wooded hill, the castle has been there since Norman times, it has an impressive medieval gatehouse and ruined tower. The castle has put together a family friendly Explorer Trail so you will find clues and fascinating facts. Allow 3 hours.
