    Make your next camping trip a true adventure by heading out to our most northerly and remote site in Scotland, Inverewe Gardens. Situated in the stunning Wester Ross region on the shores of Loch Ewe, this campsite is about as much of an escape from reality as you can get.

     

    Starry skies

    With grass and hardstanding pitches for caravans, motorhomes, tents, and trailer tents, this campsite is a true oasis of calm with gorgeous views by day and unrivalled starry skies by night. It’s a popular sight with stargazers because of these dark skies, and it’s not unheard of to see the northern lights here too. The site features all the usual convenient amenities such as toilet and shower block, washing machines, and backpacker facilities.

     

    Incredible views

    Walking and cycling are fantastic in this region, and the loch is a great place to try your hand at kayaking or just go for a refreshing dip. Inverewe Garden, which the site is named after, is a beautiful botanical garden just up the road created, by Osgood Mackenzie in 1862. A drive along the coastline here will provide an unforgettable experience due to the sheer number of incredible views.

    Worth noting

    • Poor TV satellite signal from most pitches.
    • Gairloch pipe band play some evenings on site during the summer months.
