Overview

City break or countryside adventure, the choice is yours if you camp at our Oxford Club campsite.

It’s hard to believe this pleasant bolt hole is so close to the city. Its restful ambience makes it ideal to kick back and relax after a day pounding the streets of Oxford.

Located just a mile outside the centre of Oxford, the campsite is the perfect base for exploring the magnificent city of dreaming spires. Camping in Oxford doesn't get any better than this.

Our site is just a mile from the attractions of Oxford city. Walk, cycle or catch the bus (there’s a stop right outside the site) into the city and you’ll find plenty to see and do. Don’t miss the University Museum of Natural History (the most complete remains of any single dodo are here) and the Pitt Rivers and Ashmolean Museums, the latter has 67 galleries to explore. A guided walking tour is the best way to see the University colleges and Botanic Garden and Arboretum. There are themed tours too including an Inspector Morse and a Harry Potter Tour. A punt on the River Cherwell is a must.

Worth Noting

This city centre site can be a little noisy at times – with a railway and dairy adjacent to the site. Entrance is shared with Go Outdoors. There is no motorhome service point. Electricity supply is 10amp. Many pitches are not level, chocks may be required.

Please note that there is only room for one car/tow vehicle per pitch at our Oxford site. Paid parking is available at the Park and Ride close to the site for extra vehicles.

Eat Local

The Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire Food Group produces a booklet of local food producers in the area. The booklet is available on Site.
