Best for
Tranquillity seekers, scenery admirers, walkers, stargazers, sunset chasers
Relax surrounded by the striking beauty of the Isle of Skye with a stay at Skye Club Site. Situated on the scenic shores of Loch Greshornish, with the mountains beyond, this site is not only an idyllic camping retreat but also a great base to explore this wild island.
Waterfront wellness
With backpacking facilities, amenities block, motorhome service point, and also some glamping pods, this pretty campsite is equipped for camper convenience. It is part of a working croft, meaning you will likely see Highland cattle, sheep, and pigs grazing nearby. Go down to the waterfront and dip your toes or try your hand at fishing, which is permitted while the site is open.
Remote charm
The site is relatively remote, which is part of its charm, but you can walk down to Edinbane, where you’ll find an award-winning restaurant. Drive about 10 miles west and you can explore the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland in Dunvegan. About a 20-minute drive to the east is the charming tourist town of Portree, which is home to independent shops and attractions such as the Isle of Skye Candle Co and the Portree Walkway with great views over the colourful harbour buildings.
Don’t miss out on your opportunity to camp in the beautiful and remote Isle of Skye – book a pitch today.
