Keswick town centre is within walking distance of the campsite and offers a plethora of provisions, outdoor gear, recreational grounds, eating and drinking.
Stay on the shimmering shores of Derwentwater in the heart of the northern Lake District at Keswick Club Site. With views of the lake to the south and the impressive northern fells and Skiddaw to the north, simply being on this site is often enough to satisfy your need for being in the great outdoors.
Wonderful water
This spacious campsite features a washing-up area, laundry room, and backpacker room, making it perfect for those adventurous campers who arrive on foot. It’s possible to launch kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards from the campsite onto the lake, or to enjoy a little wild swimming. A short walk will take you into Keswick town centre – one of the best--loved mountain towns in the national park.

You can hike straight from the site and take on one of the Lake District’s highest and most famous peaks in Skiddaw. Other impressive fells around include Latrigg and Blencathra. Cyclists will also find this area irresistible, not only on the roads but also on the many mountain bike trails in the hills and forests around. Worth Noting
- Direct access to Derwentwater lake for those camping on site – ideal for swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking.
- Possibility of flooding means all units must have towing vehicle on site overnight and there may be restrictions on pitches and awnings.
