We stayed after a period of very wet weather and as had booked on a grass pitch the staff were very helpful in putting us in the best place possible, which meant that our wheels of the van were on a footpath. We were very grateful as the grass was absolutely sodden! From the outset there were smiles and help and throughout the weekend staff were on hand to help and assist in any way. We had problems one evening with electricity. A neighbour reported it and within minutes a staff member was down on his bike with an extension lead to take our cable to another electric point. The site is very well placed with probably one of the best dog walking areas we have yet encountered. Through a gate and into the forest. Brilliant! There is lots to see and do and we will come back to explore the area further. The shop only has a few basics but there was a local shop a mile down the road that had almost everything and seemed to be open all hours. Toilets and showers were spotless! We would really recommend a stay, Thank you to all the team

Stayed here on a lovely autumn October weekend.

This review is for Delamere Forest

Stayed here on a lovely autumn October weekend. Wanted to go for ages, but struggled to get on, as always seems to be full. I now know why! This site is brilliant. Forest location, you can walk into the forest from inside the site, which was great for my dogs. Pitches are very generous in size, and the facilities are great. My only recommendation would be to provide a map of the site stating where stuff is ie CDP, water, grey water emptying etc. I did get told but couldnt remember two days later!
