Firstly the staff are first rate.

Firstly the staff are first rate. Considering what they have to put up with with toilets etc left in dreadful state by some that have to cleaned up. Mostly spotless. It is a beautiful peaceful site. My reservations are these. The pricing is confusing. Listed as serviced pitches per person per night except that it says per pitch. A 'serviced' pitch to my mind has water and drainage. All we get here is electricity. This my second reservation. 5.15 a night for hookup is extortionate.Thats over 1800 a year. To use that amount of electricity you would have to run quite a few 3Kw fan heaters all day and night. The last problem is the hard standing. Its a joke. One inch of pebbles then bedrock. I bent several strong pegs and gave up. It is amusing to watch others as they use heavy hammers trying to get some peg depth. Ultimately though I will always return here for the beautiful beaches and safe dog walks. Not on hard standing though!

I love staying at this friendly, clean, tidy and well organised site. I was delighted to see the camp-site shop has an expanded range of essential foods and camping supplies. The hot food outlet is good quality and value for money.

A lovely site, the staff were amazing and the facilities spotless. I thought it was for tents and motor homes but lots of caravans there too, which confused me. Thanks to the staff for finding us a spot which was as far as possible away from the playground - only opposite but all that was left on this very busy site.
