Our campsite is beautifully located under the big skies of Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire’s coast and countryside is waiting to be explored from our pretty Woodhall Spa Club campsite located in the Fenlands area of the county. The site enjoys a quiet, rural setting near the Edwardian town of the same name and accommodates some 90 units. It is bordered by trees and offers some secluded pitches. There is a lake on site and you’re likely to share your pitch with a variety of wildlife including rabbits and wild birds such as woodpeckers and moorhens.

The Edwardian town of Woodhall Spa is within walking distance and offers several places to eat. The Cottage Museum tells the history of the local community and the Kinema in the woods – a unique two-screen cinema – is open seven days a week.

For sandy beaches head to the popular resort of Skegness and Chapel St Leonards, both brimming with activities to keep the whole family entertained. In contrast the peaceful Lincolnshire Wolds provide a landscape of rolling hills and gentle valleys, perfect for walking, cycling and wildlife watching. The market towns of Market Rasen, Louth, Horncastle and Spilsby provide a range of shops, eating places.

Air enthusiasts will enjoy the Battle of Britain Air Museum at RAF Coningsby and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby. Other local attractions include Lincoln Castle and Tattershall Castle, a dramatic red brick tower managed by the National Trust.

this is a loverly quiet site, nice walks through wooded area just up the road, and cycling as well. theres a tesco and co-op in horncastle plus other shops as well, and smaller co-op in woodhall spa. The ebrington arms do nice meals which is not far from the site. The staff on site are loverly and friendly, they do really a fantastic job keeping the site very clean and toilet block. loved the ducks :)

We spent a lovely week here in June despite the freezing conditions! The playground is well-equipped with an enclosed ball area and is tucked away by the pond. The pond is deep so if I had younger children, I might not have let them off the leash. Plenty of good paths for scooting and cycling. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The showers were hot and not the push button ones. The only mess came from some campers not mopping the floor after themselves. Small shop but has the basics. Loads of rabbits. Duck food for 50p a bag - guess where the kids' pocket money went! Ducks quacking by my head outside the tent at 5am for their breakfast...not so good but blaming that on the kids! The supermarkets in Woodhall Spa are not that great - better Co-op in Horncastle. Lincoln Castle is great - you get free re-entry within 6 months so maybe go at the beginning of the week so you can go again. The prison was really fun - lots of activities for the kids and there were actors when we went playing the part of the prison staff. Louth is lovely for vintage tea shops, independent food shops, haberdashery shops and an interesting mooch around. Kinema in the Woods is perfect for rainy days and there's even an interval during the film for an ice-cream. Plan ahead for motorhome parking in the area as my parents had trouble with low barriers in a number of places. Will definitely return to this site again. No complaints and a great area to explore.

Our first site as we are new members of the C&C Club. It was a lovely experience - the wardens were very helpful, the location was perfect. The facilities block was very clean and well managed. We're returning in the autumn!

We stayed here over the May day bank holiday. Very friendly warden helped us to choose pitch. He also informed us about local bike routes and the pub in next village. There are two areas of pitches. An open field section and then a more sheltered area amongst the trees and close to a lake which we chose. Enjoyed watching the ducks. Woodhall Spar is about a 15 min bike ride away. Loads of cafes, pubs and a few independent shops. The local area was a pleasure to cycle round, being fairly quiet. We enjoyed visits to Tattershall castle and The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Colingsby, both by bike. Lovely break. We will return.
