    Top site for photography

Our campsite is beautifully located under the big skies of Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire’s coast and countryside is waiting to be explored from our pretty Woodhall Spa Club Site located in the Fenlands area of the county. The site enjoys a quiet, rural setting near the Edwardian town of the same name and accommodates some 90 units. It is bordered by trees and offers some secluded pitches. There is a lake on site and you’re likely to share your pitch with a variety of wildlife including rabbits and wild birds such as woodpeckers and moorhens.

The Edwardian town of Woodhall Spa is within walking distance and offers several places to eat. The Cottage Museum tells the history of the local community and the Kinema in the woods – a unique two-screen cinema – is open seven days a week.

If you're looking for sandy beaches head to the popular resort of Skegness and Chapel St Leonards. These are both brimming with activities to keep the whole family entertained. In contrast, the peaceful Lincolnshire Wolds provide a beautiful landscape of rolling hills and gentle valleys, perfect for walking, cycling and wildlife watching. You'll find the market towns of Market Rasen, Louth, Horncastle and Spilsby provide a range of shops and eateries.

Aircraft enthusiasts will enjoy the Battle of Britain Air Museum at RAF Coningsby and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby. Other local attractions include Lincoln Castle and Tattershall Castle, a dramatic red brick tower managed by the National Trust.

We will definitely be coming back to this site.

This review is for Woodhall Spa

We will definitely be coming back to this site. One of the most friendliest campsites we have ever been to.Plenty of ducks on the site who patrol around the site.Looks like they are guarding the place sometimes. Lovely pub up the road, and the village of Woodhall is very unique. Watch out for the Lancaster bomber. You may see it flying over, looks like the famous bomber salutes the area. Thanks to all the staff. They all deserve to be recognised for their hard work and commitment to the club.

Used the site as a base to visit the Scampton air show.

Used the site as a base to visit the Scampton air show. What a lovely site it is, as always very friendly welcome and assistance if needed. Again as always facilities clean, and clean and tidy site. The village of Woodhall Spa is an unexpected delight, free parking on either side of the Main Street gives access to some excellent shops. Lots of WW2 history in and around the area. Local pubs offer some great food.

Peaceful site with great trees and a lovely pond that has some ducks that wander around the site keeping an eye on campers. Woodhall Spa is a quaint village that has a surprising amount of independent shops. DIY shop is great like a tardis inside with loads of everything you could need. We found that 'Budgens' near the Dambusters memorial was much better than the CO-OP but both have the groceries you may need. The Kinema In The Woods is fantastic well worth a visit to see the Organ and the great history involved in the place. If you can see a film all the better, may need to book, we watched 'Dunkirk' seemed only right seeing as we are in 'Bomber' County. There are loads of airfields and Museums to visit but well worth a visit is 'Thorpe Camp' and only 4 to enter too. Also look out for all the Wind and Water Mills in the surrounding area too. Fish and Chips in the Village is lovely and there is also chinese and Indian food there too. A Butcher with other goods also visits the site on a Tuesday for the campers to purchase. Only thing that the Camping and Caravanning Club could do is put more hooks in the shower blocks as there are never enough to hang anything on while taking your shower. All the Wardens and all other staff were really friendly, kind and happy to help in any way.

Really nice small quiet site, some 2 miles outside of Woodhall spa.

This review is for Woodhall Spa

Really nice small quiet site, some 2 miles outside of Woodhall spa. Took about 50 minutes to walk, there were no footpaths as such but walking on the grass verges was easy enough. Mostly flat, through woods was very pretty. Woodhall Spa is a small, genteel town, lots of history ( mainly RAF related). Not a huge amount to do in the town ( unless you're a golf buff , it's golf course is the all England centre), but worth a visit for a couple of hours, if only to see the unique " Kinema in the Woods", and don't miss a cuppa in the "Tea Rooms in the Woods" next door - lovely. All in all, if it's excitement your looking for, this isn't the place for you! Probably not really suited for younger visitors- there's a nice little play area on site, but that's about it, probably a trip to Skegness's attractions would be more entertaining for the younger elements. We had a lovely, relaxing and peaceful time ( apart from 2 x campers who decided playing their radios all day every day was ok. They were reasonably quiet, but proved a slight irritating nonetheless). Facilities were perfectly fine and kept spotlessly clean, whole campsite was beautifully kept. Will certainly return
