    Top site for photography

Our campsite is beautifully located under the big skies of Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire’s coast and countryside is waiting to be explored from our pretty Woodhall Spa Club campsite located in the Fenlands area of the county. The site enjoys a quiet, rural setting near the Edwardian town of the same name and accommodates some 90 units. It is bordered by trees and offers some secluded pitches. There is a lake on site and you’re likely to share your pitch with a variety of wildlife including rabbits and wild birds such as woodpeckers and moorhens.

The Edwardian town of Woodhall Spa is within walking distance and offers several places to eat. The Cottage Museum tells the history of the local community and the Kinema in the woods – a unique two-screen cinema – is open seven days a week.

For sandy beaches head to the popular resort of Skegness and Chapel St Leonards, both brimming with activities to keep the whole family entertained. In contrast the peaceful Lincolnshire Wolds provide a landscape of rolling hills and gentle valleys, perfect for walking, cycling and wildlife watching. The market towns of Market Rasen, Louth, Horncastle and Spilsby provide a range of shops, eating places.

Air enthusiasts will enjoy the Battle of Britain Air Museum at RAF Coningsby and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby. Other local attractions include Lincoln Castle and Tattershall Castle, a dramatic red brick tower managed by the National Trust.

Site was well landscaped & spacious. Pity about the toilet block with leaking plugs in basins.

Site was well landscaped & spacious. Pity about the toilet block with leaking plugs in basins. All the soap holders were removed during our stay. Why not obtain suitable replacements & fit on same day?. Spoilt what would have been a most enjoyable stay. This is a club-site which should offer better facilities.

We spent three nights here with excellent weather. Visited RAF Coningsby and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight - very interesting. Boston was a bottleneck and we went to Sleaford instead. Lovely old market town with some elegant buildings. Woodhall Spa perhaps two miles away: pretty Edwardian town/village. The Kinema in the Woods was good and we liked the Ebrington Arms in Kirby on Bain. It was a car ride away as the lane was unwalkable in the dark - no footpaths or street lights and some potholes - but the food was excellent. We liked the wildlife and birds on the site.

We had a lovely welcome at Woodhall Spa and was taken to and guided onto our pitch. We stayed at Easter, the site was full and as we are seniors we were concerned it was going to be noisy with a mix of young families but it was so peaceful, the site is well set out. Towing was easy and no need to use the mover to pitch. The site is a good two miles from Woodhall Spa and although its stated the bus stop is a mile away we never actually found it so it was in the car to get anywhere but we had intended to use it as a base for touring around Lincolnshire.Woodhall Spa is a lovely village with individual shops, kinema and tearoom in the woods, golf course, park with open air swimming pool. We visited the delightful city of Lincoln, beautiful Cathedral and Castle. We found five nights not enough to do all we would have liked at Woodhall Spa and will definitely be back.
