    Top site for photography

Our campsite is beautifully located under the big skies of Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire’s coast and countryside is waiting to be explored from our pretty Woodhall Spa Club campsite located in the Fenlands area of the county. The site enjoys a quiet, rural setting near the Edwardian town of the same name and accommodates some 90 units. It is bordered by trees and offers some secluded pitches. There is a lake on site and you’re likely to share your pitch with a variety of wildlife including rabbits and wild birds such as woodpeckers and moorhens.

The Edwardian town of Woodhall Spa is within walking distance and offers several places to eat. The Cottage Museum tells the history of the local community and the Kinema in the woods – a unique two-screen cinema – is open seven days a week.

For sandy beaches head to the popular resort of Skegness and Chapel St Leonards, both brimming with activities to keep the whole family entertained. In contrast the peaceful Lincolnshire Wolds provide a landscape of rolling hills and gentle valleys, perfect for walking, cycling and wildlife watching. The market towns of Market Rasen, Louth, Horncastle and Spilsby provide a range of shops, eating places.

Air enthusiasts will enjoy the Battle of Britain Air Museum at RAF Coningsby and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby. Other local attractions include Lincoln Castle and Tattershall Castle, a dramatic red brick tower managed by the National Trust.

This is a top rate site, well away from any main roads, so if you like a good nights sleep this is the one for you. The site is clean and very well maintained. The toilets and showers some would say could be updated, well they were very clean and fully functioning with the nice benefit that the shower were not on timers. It has a large pond and fountain feature in the middle of the site but this is not fenced off. It also has a nice playground and a fenced area for ball games etc. This site is a great base for the nearby Lincoln and Skegness, and a great bike ride along the river in the direction of Lincoln with pubs and tea rooms along the route. A great pub near to the site The Ebrington Arms would be well worth a visit ( not open on Mondays ) and book at weekends. To sum up, a well run site in a great location A1.

This site has a really lovely feel to it and we feel really lucky to live so near to this site(Boston). We would be happy to travel much further just to come to a site like this. Not a site for if you want entertainment for children or yourselves. But that is why we come. Its so peaceful. There is plenty of walking from the site. You have the woods,The Viking Way and really interesting shops and cafes and restaurants in Woodhall Spa itself.2 Hotels and some pubs if you enjoy a drink in the evening.Superb fish and chips Takeaway.Chinese,an Italian Restaurant. So there is something for everyone.Meanwhile back to the site.I have to say it is kept lovely and the Wardens were really helpful. The back part of the site has a pond with trees all around or you can pitch in the front where you can have the sunshine. We shall be going back in a few weeks time for another 5 night stay.

What a lovely site on the edge of a lovely town. The welcome we received was 1st class. Great base for walking, the walk into Woodall Spa was 45 minutes and the locals are so friendly. I had read some previous reviews about the toilet block being in need of work but I could not see what the issue was, they were spotless, and the showers hot. We walked to Coningsby and Tattersall Castle one afternoon nice walk but not for the feint hearted 14 mile round trip. Dogs loved the place. Makes a great base for touring the area with Lincoln, Skegness & Horncastle easy to reach. We will definitely be back.

We received a very friendly welcome and soon got set up on our pitch in the far corner of the site. The site was very clean and tidy as always and we were able to relax after a very busy few weeks. We love the site because of the proximity to Woodhall Spa and also because we can walk our dogs for hours in the nearby woods.
