Overview

Willow Barn Caravan and Camping Site is situated in Yoxall, rural Staffordshire. It is an off grid, hideaway site, nestled in the Countryside, set alongside the National Forest, which offers over a hundred acres of grassland and woodland, for the public to enjoy walks with their friends, family, and pets. The River Trent runs along side the boundaries of the National Forest. To the North of the site, lies the River Swarbourn, set in beautiful Countryside, with bridal paths, that lead you to the local village of Yoxall, where you will be welcomed by two local Country Pubs, which serve hot food, fine ales, and wines. In the middle of the village is a local convenience store catering for your needs, all within a 5 minute car drive, or a 15 minute walk. The City of Lichfield is a 15 minute car drive away, where you will find the ancient Lichfield Cathedral, along with many bars, restaurants, cafés, and shops, making a very pleasant day or evening out.

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

*Tents are not permitted on some CS sites in Scotland.
