    Overview

    Solley’s Farms Ice Cream campsite sits in the middle of a beautiful 380 acre arable farm, where Solley’s delicious Kentish Ice Cream is made. Located near to the campsite is Solley’s Ice Cream Parlour, which is open daily throughout the summer months and offers a range of food including breakfast baps, sandwiches and paninis, as well as ice cream cones, sundaes and the famous Solley’s Super Bowls! Tractor rides are available at certain times and in favourable weather and there is a marked trail allowing you explore the farm further. Also available online and from the Ice Cream Parlour are a selection of leafletted walks in a variety of distancing, providing the perfect way to enjoy the surrounding countryside. Relax and enjoy the views across the fields, take a scenic walk or enjoy a pub at our village pub, The Plough, which dates back to 1725. Solley’s Farms Ice Cream campsite is just 15 minutes from Dover’s cross-channel ferry terminal and close to a number of major attractions including the White Cliffs of Dover, St Margaret’s Bay and Dover, Deal & Walmer Castles. Nearby Deal is a pretty & lively seaside town; its high street was voted winner of the Daily Telegraph’s inaugural High Street of the Year Award.

    This is a Listed Site (LS) that is licensed by the Local Authority and not under the jurisdiction of The Camping and Caravanning Club. These range from large parks with bars, swimming pools and entertainment to small, quiet commercial sites. The Club cannot approve or recommend Listed Sites, these are simply provided to give you more choice. It's worth checking when booking as some sites offer members a discount on pitch fees.
