    Overview

    Camping on the Isle of Wight – perfect for relaxing on this tiny island, just a short ferry trip from the England’s south coast.


    You’ll find our Adgestone Club campsite in a quiet countryside setting on the beautiful Isle of Wight close to the popular Sandown resort.

     

    A very well laid out campsite with some secluded pitches, orientated towards families. Adgestone is the only Club Site with a swimming pool (which will be open and heated from the Spring Bank Holiday until the first week in September) and a children’s paddling pool.

     
    There are numerous walking and cycling opportunities from the campsite. Beach lovers are spoilt for choice as the seaside resorts of Sandown, Shanklin, Ventnor, Cowes and Ryde all close by. Days out at Dinosaur Isle, Shanklin Chine, the Needles and Blackgang Chine shouldn’t be missed. Adgestone Vineyard, overlooking Brading Down, is worth exploring for its spectacular views across Culver Down and Sandown Bay.

    Worth Noting

    Some pitches are slightly sloping, so chocks are required. Fishing is available on site in a private carp pool – chargeable, also fishing on River Yar from 16 June to site closure – free of charge.

    100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. More information.

    Wightlink Ferries - Terms & Conditions

    Offer is valid for journeys originating from both the mainland and the island. Valid on cars, motorhomes, towed caravans and trailers. Non-members must declare a rack fitted to the back of a vehicle as well as the vehicle height and any roof-top item when the height is 2.25m or above. Failure to do so may result in the non-member being unable to travel on their booked sailing. Bookings must be made at least one day in advance. Please check the terms and conditions carefully when booking as cancellation and amendment charges may apply. Non-members must carry their confirmation letter for Adgestone when checking-in at Wightlink. All travel/tickets subject to Wightlink terms and conditions.
