Overview

Located five minutes from Junction 13, M5 yet in a quiet, rural location surrounded by arable fields with views of the Cotswold Hills. Suitable for all sizes of caravan and motorhome and access from the A38 is level and easy. The site is secure and ideal for long and short stays. There is an area of hard-standing in addition to a spacious grass area with electric hook ups accessible from both. There is a smart toilet block and free wi-fi is available. There is a regular bus service to Gloucester and Dursley which stops at the farm entrance. The pub in the village is within walking distance and serves excellent food; the Tesco in Cam is five minutes’ drive away. There are plenty of interesting places to visit. The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust is at Slimbridge and the Gloucester to Sharpness and Stroudwater Canals are nearby. Gloucester Cathedral, Docks and Quays Designer Outlet are easily reached. In the other direction lies Berkeley with its Castle, Jenner Museum and an adventure playground which children will love at Cattle Country. There are also many delightful Cotswold villages to visit as well as Westonbirt Arboretum.

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
