As the name suggests, this site is right on the doorstep of Alton Towers, but it is also ideal for outdoor lovers too, being a few miles south of the Peak District National Park.

This is a spacious campsite with modern facilities including toilets and showers, designated dog walk, and an on-site shop. A children’s play area will keep your little ones entertained between trips to the theme park, while super service pitches offer a little camping luxury. Despite being so close to Alton Towers, this site still has a rural feel with some pitches offering great views of the surrounding countryside.Picturesque peaks
Walkers will appreciate this site’s proximity to iconic Peak District scenes such as Dovedale, Matlock, and Bakewell. It is also around a 30-minute drive from Carsington Water – a great place for walking, fishing, or even trying your hand at water sports. Worth Noting
- Super Service pitches overlook the play area.
- If towing, approach the site from the North, avoid travelling through Cheadle.
- All grass pitches are sloping - levelling ramps and chocks will be required.
