Charming Little Site well placed for many attractions.

This review is for Highfield House

Charming Little Site well placed for many attractions. This is a pretty and peaceful little site. Part sloping grass pitches with several 10 amp power points. Small but adequate toilet and shower facilities. Charming and helpful owners. TV reception perfect, mobile just good enough, no wifi. Tons to do locally much of it Free to enter, i.e. National Coal Mining Museum that includes a 90 minute guided tour in a mine ! Theres lots more too so well worth the visit. We would say that MH's over 7m would struggle to get level but all normal size units should be fine. Site entrance from the road needs care entering. All in all a little gem.

Easy to get to with lovely views and walks. Dog friendly. Shelia and her husband Robin made us very welcome. We highly recommend the site and will certainly stay there again. Can also recommend the Bell pub in the village, dog friendly with great food.
