This is a lovely site, lovingly cared for by the friendly and helpful owners, and within a 5 minute walk of the Flappit pub which does meals all day. Ideal for walkers, with nice walks over the moors towards Howarth and Oxenhope, and of course the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. With electric hookup, drinking water, waste disposal (including dog waste), and hard standings separated by small hedges and flowerbeds, it's excellent value at 12 a night, and feels very secluded. It's well screened from the road that passes the site, and although the traffic noise is noticeable during the day, it didn't bother us at all at night. The Bay Horse in Oxenhope (Upper Town) does good value food and about 5 well kept real ales from local breweries. We have stayed at several CSs over the years, and this is up there among the very best.

Peaceful, well kept and clean A beautiful little site, well maintained, more like a garden than a camp site. We arrived around lunchtime and the pitch was marked for us, though we had the site to ourselves. The pitch was hard standing and fairly level, the hook up was right by the pitch. The water, waste and toilet disposal points were handy and very clean. It was our first trip away in our newly converted bus and it couldn't have been better for us. easy access and easy to find. Howarth is around a 20 minute walk away but be warned, its steep on the way back. lots of shops and the Worth Valley Railway mean you can easily make a day of it. its just 10 miles from our house so we'll be visiting again.

A gem of a site on the outskirts of the town but within rural setting.

A gem of a site on the outskirts of the town but within rural setting. Mr & Mrs Braybrook were very helpful to us; our visit was for family reasons but would definitely return to 'holiday' in the area.
