Even better than last year! We stayed at this site a year ago, and loved it then, with a wonderful and huge forest only a stones throw away. This year, the site has been further improved with the addition of two very clean loos. No shower (yet) but we use the one in our van anyway. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Wonderful site - Peaceful, close to the forest - wildlife in abundance.

Wonderful site - Peaceful, close to the forest - wildlife in abundance. Owner couldn't have been more helpful - We will definitely be back. What a lovely site - the owner met us on arrival and couldn't have been any friendlier or helpful - The site is a lovely green field and fence all around it. Views of the edge of the forest all around. Easy to walk into the forest where you could walk all day and not see a road or even another person on some days.We saw a buzzard and a barn owl - Deers seemingly sometimes come near to the field but we didn't see them this time. Lots of walks in forest but also around nearby villages. We walked every day. Dogs are very welcome and they loved it. We shall definitely be back and will probably bring friends with us next time.

Great little CS site; feel like you're in the middle of nowhere with great walks straight into the forest. Basic but adequate facilities. Really enjoyed our 3 nights at Hall Farm; needed to be in the area to visit family and found Mike's site on the Club Website. Despite being in the Kings Forest/Thetford Forest Park the site is very open set in farmland with great footpaths and direct access to the forest where you can walk as far as your legs will carry you! Nearest town is Bury St Edmunds (5 miles) with great shops, Abbey, market and restaurants and various other tourist attractions in the area make this a good site to base yourself for a Suffolk holiday. Pitches are fairly level with 16amp hookups. The fenced field is very spacious with one water tap and bins near the gate. The chemical disposal point is just outside the field near the toilet cabin which has been installed for any campers who do not have their own facilities; there are washbasins with cold water but no shower (yet) but Mike is still developing things and has only been operating for 2 years. He is friendly but not intrusive and would be contactable if you needed him. We had TV reception after a bit of trial and error adjusting of the ariel; no 3G or 4G though (on EE). Towing was easy on a good access B road and the site well signposted through the farm; you just drive on, choose your own pitch and Mike comes later for the money. Great site if you like walking and or have dogs or bikes. Price is reasonable, not the cheapest CL site (16 per night) but worth it we thought.
