What a wonderful place. So peaceful, so relaxing, Dog friendly and we have 3.

What a wonderful place. So peaceful, so relaxing, Dog friendly and we have 3. A very warm welcome when we got there in the rain. Could choose where to set up. Very helpful. Lovely village with fantastic walks and great views. Highly recommended, we shall definitely come again. Only downside was that although it was clean, the toilet was in a static caravan. Will be much better when toilet and shower block is built.

Smashing site, that will only get better when toilet block is finished.

Smashing site, that will only get better when toilet block is finished. We loved the location as it offers plenty of room for the dogs to roam (off site). As for the owners, iv met a few,but none as friendly as these. Looking forward to spending more time there during the year. Keep up the good work folks!!

This quiet friendly campsite is very well kept.

This review is for Keviki

This quiet friendly campsite is very well kept. Like a garden with lots of shelter from the wind as it is surrounded by trees, but from late morning there is sun on most parts of the site for the rest of the day, but a shady pitch can be selected if necessary. There is a trampoline and some swings on the field so good for children, although there is a pond on site it is fenced off. The site is very quiet at night and there is not much light pollution so the view of the stars is lovely. The only sounds in the morning are the chickens on site and the geese that fly over. A toilet and shower block is being built and there are plans for EHU to be installed. Until the block has been completed, a toilet can be used in a static caravan, but that is the only facility available at the moment, but the rating awarded will be higher when the block is finished. There are 2 pubs in the village, and also Winteringham Fields restaurant. We walked to the Bay Horse and had a meal and a few drinks. It was excellent. Great food and friendly staff. I think there was real ale too. There is also a small shop with off-licence. There are footpaths around the village that lead to the River Humber with views of the Humber Bridge. It's a good area for cycling too as there are flat quiet lanes with not much traffic. I will visit this site again when I need a quiet chill-out weekend as it is very close to my home.

Keviki is a very small level C.S.

This review is for Keviki

Keviki is a very small level C.S. bordered on all sides by trees and hedging and a fenced off pond with willow trees near the entrance also enhances the overall look and feel of the site. At present a single toilet in an old unused static van is being used while the toilet and shower block is under construction. Close by and hidden from view is a Chemical Disposal Point with wash-down pipe and also a fresh water tap. The village of Winteringham is about a 10 minute stroll away where there are 2 pubs which serve food, a butchers and a small shop which is also a Post Office and during working hours you can do cash withdrawals there. Many places of interest are close by including Normanby Hall which is well worth a visit. The site owners, Kevin and Vicki, are very friendly and will stop for a chat when passing. You will have to get used to the neighbours though. The camp cat has no shame and pays you a visit as soon as it smells bacon cooking. Don't feed it or you'll never get rid of it. You'll also be sharing the site with a few chickens that scratch about and provide the owners with free range eggs which may be purchased. Overall this is a delightful site in a very pleasant location near the River Humber well suited to campers who want to relax and have a bit of peace and quiet and I will certainly be returning again soon.
