We stayed a full week, its a great site with clean facilities and a stunning view of the lake. Wished I'd taken my boots to climb Ben Lomond as its so close and there is a slip way for boats. The staff were brilliant and my boys and cat enjoyed playing beside the water. The approach road is fine but narrow and there is a 1 in 6 after a 90 degree bend on the main road but ts not too big and all cars should be able to achieve it. Will definatley return.

Site facilities and staff were great. I am now considering enquiring about a seasonal pitch for next season as this site has everything I need especially the launch ramp for my jet ski. Keep up the good work guys.

We booked this last minute and had no problems booking a pitch, opted for a superior pitch, a stones throw from the beach. Met by very friendly staff, the site was quiet, the toilet and shower facilities were plentiful and spotless, as we were there to relax this was ideal for us but it had easy access to the loch for water sports, the west highland way for walking and plenty of road network for cycling. We did go into the nearby towns which were lovely and the locals were very friendly. The shop was well stocked and they bake bread, croissants, toast etc to order which is a great service and think more sites should follow this great idea. Only problem was the midges!!! Apparently they are prevelent this year and having hailed from Scotland I was used to them, however, they were there in force. All in all we had a great short break.

New to camping thought would try somewhere close to home for our first time, couldn't have chosen better!!! We pitched out tent in a lovely spot and had a fab 2 day break in stunning surroundings. We arrived early on the Friday so found a pitch no problem. Reaaly clean showers and toilets and hot showers and pot washing facilities too and will definitely be coming back soon!! Don't be put off by the previous review of the tent pitches, you just need to get there early and there are plenty of places to pitch a tent with electric hook up with great views!!
