Boasting over 30 rides, from thrilling roller coasters to fun family friendly rides and water rides, Thorpe Park offers something for everyone.

Stealth

Labelled the ‘UK’s fastest rollercoaster’, Stealth takes you from 0-80 miles per hour in less than 2 seconds! You’ll experience the horsepower of two Formula 1 cars in this extremely fast drag race.

Colossus

One of the world’s first 10-loop rollercoaster, the Colossus has 10 inversions, including a vertical loop, cobra roll, double corkscrew and the UK’s only quadruple barrel roll.

The Swarm

Ghost Train

A new ride that’s hit Thorpe Park is the ultimate thriller. Passengers of the Ghost Train go on a spooky journey into the unknown. The Ghost Train is one of the UK’s longest ride experiences featuring live actors and multisensory effects to create a truly frightening attraction.

Tidal Wave

On Tidal Wave, thrill seekers plunge down an 85ft spiral drop and get drenched. They aren't the only ones to get soaked, as bystanders can't escape the crazy splash too.

The Walking Dead

Inspired by the popular TV series, The Walking Dead, Thorpe Park has created a chilling rollercoaster where your one goal – survive! This indoor, live-action rollercoaster will keep you second-guessing what’s around each corner and fearing every second of it.

Carnival

Depending on what time of year you visit Thorpe Park, the theme park hosts many special events. Here's some information on the most popular ones.

Fright Nights

When the sun goes down, Thorpe Park comes to life with its Halloween special, Fright Nights. The theme park transforms into a haunted playground with spooky surprises lurking around every corner. You’ll be able to ride rollercoasters at night, explore scare zones, take on the freaky maze and watch horrifying shows.

Carnival

For colourful and breathtaking entertainment, visit Thorpe Park during its Carnival event. Watch many live circus acts, including free runners, contortionists, hoop divers and aerial artists. Also, enjoy circus-style street food, and explore the dark side of the circus, where you’ll find a creepy maze you must escape.

Ocktoberfest

Taking over the theme park on selected dates is Octoberfest! Enjoy some tasty German treats, including traditional beers, whilst you take on all the thrilling rides Thorpe Park has to offer.

Book a stay at our Chertsey Club Site, which is located 9 minutes away from Thorpe Park. The campsite accommodates all units, is family-friendly, welcomes pets, and it has public transport links nearby for easy commuting. So you can enjoy both the theme park and get a quiet night's rest in the beautiful outdoors.

Parking at Thorpe Park

If you're travelling by car, all directions to the car park are signposted upon arrival. Make sure you book a parking space in advance as there is a parking fee.

Caravans and motorhomes can park at Thorpe Park in the coach car park, which you'll find on the right-hand side when driving into the Resort.

Please note: Overnight car parking is not permitted.

Opening and closing times

Thorpe Park opens at 10 am and closes at 7 pm from Monday to Sunday. After 7 pm, all queues are closed but don't worry if you've joined a line at the last minute because you'll still get the chance to enjoy your last ride.

How to get to the park

Thorpe Park is located in Surrey, 20 miles from London. If you're staying at our Chertsey Club Site, the theme park is just a 9-minute drive away.

If you're travelling via public transport, there are several ways to reach the theme park, including the 950 fast shuttle bus service that takes you from Staines station to the theme park.

Age and height restrictions

All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Height restrictions vary depending on the ride. In some instances, those who do not meet the height requirement can be accompanied by an adult who is 18+. For more specific details and restrictions on each ride, click here.
