    Overview

    Our campsite is just outside Southerndown village with breath-taking views of Dunraven Bay, however it is very basic! We do not have any electric hook ups, toilets or showers. Our rates start at £17.50 per night & can only take a small number of units. Bookings are via our own website. Situated alongside the Welsh Coastal Path, it’s a short walk down to the beach. A 5-10 min walk to the nearest pub, The Three Golden Cups and restaurant, Frolics. The bus stop is across the road from the pub if you want to take advantage of the bus service to walk larger sections of the coastal path. The nearest shops are in Ogmore by Sea and St Brides Major. St Brides Major is where you’ll find our very own farm shop! You can pre-book a seasonal meat box from us or visit our farm shop (open Thursday 2 till 5 and Saturday 10 till 2). Ogmore by Sea also boasts a zero waste shop and in St Brides Major you’ll find The Milk Hut next to The Farmers Arms, just buy or bring a bottle and fill.

     

    This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

     

    *Tents are not permitted on some CS sites in Scotland.
