    Discover the underrated beauty of the Mendip Hills and visit famous sights, such as Cheddar Gorge, with a relaxing stay at Cheddar Mendip Heights Club Site. Situated next to the village of Priddy, the highest in the Mendips, this site makes an excellent base for exploring this spectacular area and enjoying outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, and caving.

     

    Fabulous facilities

     

    Featuring top-notch toilet and shower facilities, a laundry room, and a well-stocked licensed shop selling local produce, you won’t need to venture too far to have a rewarding camping experience. The site even has two well-equipped holiday caravans that can be booked for 4-6 people to enjoy a self-catering break.

     

    Stunning Somerset

     

    The obvious attraction of this site is the sublime scenery surrounding it – the iconic Cheddar Gorge is just a few miles away, while the rest of the Mendip Hills offer a chance to get an unforgettable dose of the great outdoors. Priddy village is a 15-minute walk from the site and is home to a cosy, welcoming pub. Further afield, you can explore Glastonbury, Wookey Hole, Longleat Safari Park and even Bath – it’s the ideal place to discover Somerset.

    These are hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up, suitable for a standard sized tent, caravan or motorhome.


    These are jumbo grass pitches with electric hook-up, suitable for units measuring more than 5m x 9m.

     

    Worth noting

    • Please do not follow Google Maps or SatNav to this site; the route provided is unsuitable for towing and larger vehicles. Follow the safe approach instructions available in Site Seeker or download here for the best route to site. 
    • Mobile phone signal can be poor at times.
    • The site is 45 minutes towing time from M4 Junction 18 and M5 Junction 23. 
    • Please note Bath & Bristol have clean air zones, and charges may apply to certain vehicles. Not all pitches are flat – levelling ramps and chocks are advised.
    • This site does not pitch campervans and motorhomes on grass.
