Overview

Our site is on the edge of the village of Priddy, the highest in the Mendips.

Our gorgeous Cheddar Club Site is set in the heart of the beautiful Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's an ideal base to explore the area for walking, cycling, caving and rock climbing activities.

The well laid out site has excellent shower and toilet facilities, including a family room, plus a laundry room and a well-stocked licensed shop selling local produce. Special rates are available for backpackers arriving on foot or by bike. There are two well-equipped holiday caravans for hire, each sleeping up to six people.

You can walk to the village of Priddy where you'll find a popular pub serving food just 3/4 mile from the site and the adjacent farm café, selling a range of locally produced meats and home-made pies. Priddy also hosts a popular folk festival in July and other events throughout the year.

There are many attractions in Somerset and the surrounding area including Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury, Longleat Safari Park and the cities of Bath and Wells are waiting to be explored.

Cheddar currently holds an AA Gold 4 Pennant Award.

If you fancy leaving the unit behind, consider a hassle free break in one of our two holiday caravans. Our self-catering options sleep 4-6 people and have all the creature comforts of home.
