Overview

Newton Farm Campsite is situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast Nation Park close to the popular surfing beach of Freshwater West which was a film location for Harry Potter, Their Finest and Robin Hood starring Russell Crowe. Also nearby is the family friendly beach at Angle and the Napoleonic Forts of Thorne Island and Chapel Bay with its museum and visitor centre. Newton Farm Campsite is next to the National Trust’s Gupton Farm Estate and its wildlife areas and Sites of Special Scientific Interest. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path which is also the Wales Coast Path has spectacular coastal views and it takes you around the Angle Peninsula. The area is poular for cycling and the Iron Man Wales Cycle Route passes by Newton Farm Campsite. Nearby are the beautiful beaches of Broad Haven and Barafundle Bay. Bosherston Lily Ponds and the world class rock climbing areas of Stackpole. Newton Farm Campsite is convenient for the Irish ferry to Rosslare and attractions such as Pembroke Castle (the Birthplace of Henry VII), Oakwood theme park, Heatherton, Bluestone, Blue Lagoon and Folly Farm.

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
