Westland West Campsite is situated on the edge of the friendly village of Maenclochog, at the foot of the Preseli Hills in North Pembrokeshire, ideally placed to explore Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. Set in a peaceful, relaxing, rural setting with stunning views of Foel Cwmcerwyn, the highest of the Preseli hills, we have a camping field for tents, next to our ash tree grove full of wild flowers and a separate area for caravans and campervans with electric hook-up etc. Showers, toilets, wash basins and a washing up area in the toilet block. Dogs are allowed. WIFI is available. Enjoy a game of badminton or table tennis while watching the red kites or buzzards that often soar over the campsite. The lack of light pollution means that the night skies can be amazing. It’s a five minute walk to the village shop/post office, café and pub and there are also two petrol stations. Opposite the entrance to Westland West are the two ‘Cornel Bach’ standing stones and from here you can follow a lovely footpath that leads to the hills. A beautiful drive over the hills and through the pretty, wooded Gwaun valley takes you to Newport Beach in twenty minutes
