Had two nights at this site with 3 other couples, lovely clean site, made to feel very welcome. not very far from southport, but far enough to be not in the thick of things. would definitely return.

Very nice but small site for 5 Caravans , in the pricing guide was £15 per night for up to 2 adults and 2 childred plus electric hook up , when we got there found out that we had to pay for the electric in a meter , having only use of TV (evenings only ) and the occasional Microwave , it cost me an extra £12 in one pound coins . making a total for the six day stay of £117 , which I feel was very expensive, especially when on the web site it stated the £15 per night fee included Electric hook up . Such a shame as it was a lovely nice quiet site . will have to look elsewhere next year.

very nice location and tidy site but a CS site in November at £15-00 per night as well as £6-00 per night for electricity by meter. TOO DEAR. Sorry but you can book far better sites with heated shower blocks proper hard standings and electricity thrown in for that and not have to get up at 2am in the pouring rain to feed the hungry meter when the power drops out. On the positive side we received a very warm welcome from the nice site owner and as i said its a nice enough site also it is handily positioned for Southport and Liverpool and there is a very nice shopping area close by with a very nice eatery called the old duke. the electricity meters are a big negative though making it very expensive and im afraid i will be looking elsewhere on my next foray to southport. Thanks anyway Mrs Trevitt.

Nice campsite within reach of Southport by car or bicycle This site has a lot of positives about it,good access, nice wide drivewway and gate, friendly owner,2 showers which we didn't use at £1 for 6 mins, and three toilets in total.A big camping field which had lots of light and sun.The caravan site was grassy and level, but if large outfits there it could maybe be difficult to manoeuvre. Some of the pitches were under conker trees,we were,so I was a bit concerned about them falling onto our van, and it was quite shady too. Each pitch had it own electric point and water tap.The electricity was metered which I can sort of understand why some owners do this, but at 39p a unit I feel this is a bit steep. It was warm and sunny most of the time we were there so we didn't need heaters on and just used normal things electricity wise and it cost us over £6 for our stay.I wont be going there again.
