Only needed the one night, before crossing from Dover to Calais.

This review is for The Field (Adjacent to Bean Court)

Only needed the one night, before crossing from Dover to Calais. Level site, with one toilet (although light inside wasn't working). Loved the fairy lights especially round the drinking water tap. Nice, friendly dog and owners very relaxed.

The site is fairly easy to find and is particularly suitable for members wanting access to the Dover ferries, Canterbury and/or the coastal towns. The pitches are all hook-ups, level and during our stay were very well manicured (if only our lawn looked this good!). Be prepared for early morning and late evening arrivals and departures, although everyone was as quiet as practicable. The site backs on to a field with sheep and assorted other creatures. The proprietor's dog was well behaved and kept in her garden, which also features a rather vocal and entertaining parrot.
