    Overview

    Explore the Highlands from this peaceful Scottish campsite.

     

    Our Club campsite at Dingwall sits at the head of the Cromarty Firth and is ideally located for exploring the Scottish Highlands and the wooded Black Isle.

     

    This pretty campsite caters for all unit types; it is well laid out and level, with many pitches bounded by trees and hedges, ensuring you’re perfectly pitched to enjoy a relaxing break. The market town of Dingwall is close by offering a range of shops, a supermarket and restaurants. You can catch a train from here to Kyle of Lochalsh on the West coast; a stunning route taking in some of Scotland’s most beautiful scenery.


    If you enjoy walking, the Dingwall Heritage Trail passes the campsite and follows the River Peffery to a picnic area on the Cromarty Firth. Head to Evanton and Fyrish Hill for other walking opportunities.


    Wildlife lovers can spot dolphins at Cromarty, whilst Red Kites can be seen on the Black Isle. To view ospreys, visit Udale Bay, part of the Firth shoreline where birdwatchers can also scan for waders and wildfowl.

    To sample the local culture, visit the Victorian spa village of Strathpeffer with the Highland Museum of Childhood or enjoy a tasting and tour at the Black Isle Brewery, Munlochy.

    		 These are grass pitches with no electric hook-up or other services, suitable for a standard sized tent, caravan or motorhome.


    		These are grass pitches with electric hook-up, suitable for a standard sized tent, caravan or motorhome.


    		These are hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up, suitable for a standard sized tent, caravan or motorhome.


    		These are jumbo grass pitches with no electric hook-up, suitable for units measuring more than 5m x 9m.


    		These are jumbo grass pitches with electric hook-up, suitable for units measuring more than 5m x 9m.


    		These are super service hard standing pitches with electric hook-up, fresh water and waste drainage, suitable for those looking for a little more luxury whilst they camp.

     

    Worth Noting

    Poor TV reception at times. Please contact the site if arriving on a Saturday during the football season as Ross County football team may be playing at home which will cause road restrictions to the site.

    100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. More information.
