Best for

Tranquillity seekers, beach lovers, water sports fans, culture vultures

Wake up each morning to the sound of waves and the invigorating feel of fresh sea air at Dunbar Club Site. Located on the northern coast of East Lothian just an hour east of Edinburgh, this campsite boasts miles of golden sands and some of the best surfing conditions in Scotland.

Spacious site

This spacious campsite has over 100 pitches for caravans, motorhomes, campervans, tents, and trailer tents. It benefits from a modern toilet and shower block, recently created dog walking area, and even a wetsuit shower for those who do want to embrace the surf. The campsite is just up the road from the seaside town of Dunbar, which has great restaurants and pubs.

A day in the capital

Wildlife lovers will relish this campsite thanks to the huge number of seabirds that use the Firth of Forth and Bass Rock as a nesting place. As well as birds, you may be lucky enough to spot a seal or two during your stay. If you’re in need of a day of culture and fine dining, you can catch a train from Dunbar into the Scottish capital Edinburgh, which takes around an hour – iconic streets like the Royal Mile await.

Embrace the bracing shores of East Lothian on your next camping holiday and get better connected with the great outdoors.

Worth noting
