With the sandy shores of South Devon’s Heritage Coast to the south and the dramatic wild spaces of Dartmoor National Park to the north, California Cross Club Site puts you in the heart of the great outdoors. It’s an ideal spot for a secluded getaway or a great base to explore the sights and sounds of this beautiful corner of England.
Remote yet connected
The site’s mix of level and sloping pitches offer a tranquil camping experience with views of the lush countryside all around. Despite the remote location, you can still enjoy the convenience of a pub and small shop just a few hundred yards away. Both offer a wide range of locally produced food.
Wild hikes and fine dining
Walkers will love this site’s proximity to the southern part of Dartmoor National Park, while nearby Ivybridge is home to the start of the Two Moors Way walking route. For those who want a gentler holiday, some of South Devon’s small towns such as Noss Mayo and Bigbury on Sea offer dramatic scenery, fantastic seafood, and great pubs. As well as beautiful beaches, coastal spots like Mothercombe also offer amazing cliff-top vistas that will leave a lasting impression.

Worth noting
- Some pitches are sloping and may require levelling ramps and chocks.
- Access to the campsite is along narrow country lanes with passing places.
- There is no dog walk on-site.
- TV reception can be poor in some areas.
- Due to the site's layout, there is no visitor parking.
