2017 Winners - Bedale Camping and Caravanning

Best CS winners 2017

Owned and operated by husband and wife team Ross and Lorraine Jenkins, they have turned their land into one of Yorkshires loveliest campsites, with pitches for 5 caravans and motorhomes and up to 10 tents. Bedale Camping and Caravanning has something for everyone. In a field bordered with trees on one side, spacious shower blocks, electric hook up points, a dog walking field and a cabin full of information. The Jenkin’s have left no stone unturned, and gave a whole heap of hard work and dedication to this delightful little campsite.

Ross and Lorraine and their lovely team are very keen to make all campers feel welcome and relaxed and whatever you want to do here is up to you. Feel free to sit back and relax during your stay or use it as the perfect base to go off and explore North Yorkshire. A short 10 minute stroll from the site will bring you into Bedale town centre, which is home to a variety of shops, pubs & restaurants. There is a local railway that goes through Leyburn, and right up to Redmire, close to Bolton Castle.

Within the surrounding area, you can visit Snape Castle, Thorpe Perrow Arboretum and the historic town of Ripon, with its own beautiful Cathedral and Town Crier which all make for a great day out.

We’re sure you’ll agree that Bedale Camping and Caravanning is a very worthy winner of this prestigious accolade and join us in congratulating them on all of their hard work and effort. Please visit their site page for more information.
