Embark on white-water rafting adventure curated to cater to the daredevil within. With over 40 years of experience, this attraction promises a memorable day out. There are a mix of activities on offer, depending on ages and how much of an adrenaline junkie you are. Bookable activities at the National White Water Centre
- Ultimate rafting – 2 hours of rafting through world class rapids on a river course. Great fun and guaranteed rapids.
- Rapid session – 1 hour of runs down the rapids, an exciting introduction to whitewater rafting.
- Rafting safari – a gentler journey down the river, still exiting but better for younger children.
- Canyoning adventure – the chance to climb, swim and slide through the river with scrambles and slides for adventure seekers.
Useful information
Wetsuits can be hired for a small charge per person. You can, of course, take your own wetsuit if you’d prefer, if it’s got full legs.
Facilities include a café, hot showers, changing rooms, a kayak shop and on-site parking.
Participants in rafting sessions must be able to demonstrate that they can swim 25-meters for safety reasons.
You must book in advance to secure you place and pay attention to the age and weight restrictions to ensure your visit goes without a hitch.
